Role Summary

The Mobile Creative Designer has a strong foundation or knowledge of digital branding, visual concepts, motion graphics, typography, video and immersive experiences, logo and icon designs for the mobile platform. The Creative Designer also concepts highly interactive systems, balancing brand guidelines and technical feasibility to deliver cutting edge style, clever animation and user-friendly solutions.

This person must be show initiative with design strategy, concepting, design, and production of mobile projects.

Core Responsibilities:

  • Reports to the Senior Mobile Creative Designer
  • Participates in creative brainstorming, campaign and creative brief development
  • Crafts and applies brand identity systems, typography, iconography, photography, color and animations to innovate creative solutions
  • Supports the development of: Mood/theme/story boards, detailed screen comps, final artwork and creative style guides.
  • Produces visual prototypes created in Flash or similar software
  • Extends visual systems and guidelines across channels and devices for seamless brand continuity and integration
  • Collaborates across disciplines and with team members at all levels
  • Help develop marketing materials in support of business development

Desired Skills:

  • Supports the development of the user experience
  • Has a basic understanding of the channels that comprise the digital landscape such as Web, mobile, interaction design
  • Highly proficient in Adobe Creative Suite
  • Knowledge of Flash, or other animation software
  • Good oral and visual communication skills
  • Exposure to digital and print production processes

Qualifications:

  • 2 - 3 years of Creative Design industry experience preferably in consulting or with an agency
  • Strong visual design portfolio with exposure in interactive/media animation
  • Portfolio of mobile or digital media
  • Bachelor’s degree in relevant field, such as Graphic Design
