Role Summary
Our Experience Designers play a pivotal role in defining the mobile/tablet/touch context, providing design direction, nurturing talent, leading experience tracks, and guiding clients to pioneering solutions. They are the nerve center of our design process. UX Designers have tremendous opportunities to directly contribute to our rise in the mobile space through publishing Points of View and knowledge sharing.

Core Responsibilities:
- Thinks mobile innovation, and devises revolutionary future-thinking mobile solutions
- Focuses, inspires, motivates and grow our clients to achieve exceptional results
- Demonstrates expertise in best-of-breed interaction design; information architecture design; conceptual modeling; heuristic assessments; provides analysis of user, process and tasks; as well as conducts usability testing
- Produces detailed high-grade deliverables including storyboards, user scenarios, personas, design prototypes and user-requirements specifications for mobile and tablet platforms such as Mobile Web, iOS, Android, and Windows Phone7
- Collaborates with Mobients’ Visual Design and Technology team members to execute comprehensive solutions
- Facilitates design workshops and brainstorming sessions, stakeholder interviews and presentations
- Communicates and presents UX research findings, white papers, conceptual ideas, detailed design critiques, and design rationales
- Mentors and leads assigned UX staff
Desired Skills:
- Minimum of 2 years designing for mobile phones/tablets. Prefer experience with Android mobile and tablets, iPhone/iPad/iOS, BlackBerry, Windows Phone 7, mobile Web
- Expert in a variety of user research and usability approaches
- Familiar with user experience design methodologies including Agile
- Highly proficient in design and rapid prototyping tools including Omnigraffle, Visio, InDesign, Illustrator or Photoshop
- Solid experience working in internal or client-facing team-based settings
- Excellent presentation and communications skills
Qualifications:
- Degree in Human Computer Interaction (HCI), Psychology, Design, Computer Science, Mathematics, Fine Arts, Industrial Design, Anthropology or other related field; Master’s degree or PhD a plus
- 5-to-7 years in a User Experience related field
- Experience leading design teams on large projects
- Stellar Mobile experience work portfolio
- Prior consulting firm or agency experience desired
